Nature and purpose of the Fund
The Austrian Fund for the Documentation of Religiously Motivated Political Extremism (Documentation Centre Political Islam) is a fund of the Republic of Austria with its own legal personhood, whose activities are not profit oriented and which exclusively pursues non-profit purposes in the sense of §§ 34 to 47 BAO. Its declared aim is the scientific documentation and research of religiously motivated political extremism (political Islam). All media of Austrian Fund for the Documentation of Religiously Motivated Political Extremism (Documentation Centre Political Islam) is intended to provide information on topics, projects and research of the Austrian Fund for the Documentation of Religiously Motivated Political Extremism (Documentation Centre Political Islam) and to disseminate essential information on the topic of religiously motivated political extremism, specifically political Islam, as well as to promote awareness of associated topics.
As a fund in the sense of the Federal Law on Trusts and Funds 2015 the Austrian Fund for the Documentation of Religiously Motivated Political Extremism (Documentation Centre Political Islam) declares to adhere to a transparent management and to adhere to the Federal Public Governance Codex (B-PCGK) and the publication of a yearly Public Corporate Governance Codex Report.
